January 1-15, 2012 Bodice Rippers Femme Fatales and Fantasy will feature author Kelley Armstrong. Kelley's Women of the Otherworld series is a favorite of mine. Along with this discussion page, we will post reviews for several of Kelley's Otherworld books.Kelley's many characters include the Pack werewolves Clay, Elena, Jeremy, Antonio and Nick, as well as demons, half-demons, vampires and witches. I favor the werewolves of course, especially the Danvers clan of Clay, Elena and Jeremy. Which characters hold a place in your heart?
It's a series I've always wanted to try, but I was just getting into the realm of paranormal and wasn't sure it would be my cup of tea. Now after a number of years in the paranormal realm and enjoying authors like Feehan, Kenyon, Moning, Day, Joyce, Meyer, Cooke, Wilson, etc I feel this is a series and author I will enjoy. No doubt your reviews of the books alone will entice me even more. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's a great series, but my favorite characters are the werewolves. Especially Elena & Clay & Jeremy.
ReplyDeleteok it's safe to say you gals have already got me interested in this werewolf clan. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMarcie..Kelley is from London, Ontario..and her Otherworld series is not your typical werewolf and vampire storylines...I found Kelley's books last spring and I have loved everything about this series....
ReplyDeleteRemember to read in order...starting with Bitten and then Stolen....
Marcie, also keep in mind, women of the otherworld is not just werewoves, there are stories for witches, vampires, demons, necromancers. You get to know all the main characters, whom i like a lot, but Elena and Clay are my favorites.
