Hello all! I am going to be taking over the Talking About theme. When I was asked to give it a try I realized something, I am really bad at hunting down information about a man who just happens to be on the cover of a book we all know and love. Shauni, the wonderful person that she is, took mercy on me and said that I should do a Chris Evans one because I love him so much! Great right? :) So from there we have come to the conclusion that I will be putting my own little twist on the Talking About from here on out. There are going to be a few kinks along the way while I feel out exactly what I want to do so I ask for your support and patience while I get my groove. Now, let's get to the good stuff!
That's right! The nerd in me is rejoicing that we get to talk about Captain America. The woman in me is purring that we get to talk about Chris Evans! Holla!

June 13, 1981
Boston, Massachusetts
He is currently about 6 feet tall
He is known for his his most recent and popular role in Captain America: The First Avenger as, Steve Rogers (Captain America). He also plays Steve Rogers/Captain America in Marvels newest blockbuster hit, The Avengers.
Evans is no stranger to comic book movies though.

Evans as the witty tech guy in the movie, Losers.
Evans as his debut superhero, the Human Torch.
Of all of the blockbusters that he has been apart of, the movie that he is the proudest of is an indie film called, Sunshine.
Evans moved to NY to pursue a career in acting. After a while he was cast in TV shows and pilots that never really took off. He didn't let that deter his dreams. In 2001 he landed a role in the movie, Not Another Teen movie as the hot stud Jake Wyler. From that movie he went on to play roles in comedies and landed his first big movie in 2005 as Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four. Nowadays people will forget he was ever the cocky Human Torch and see him as the wonderfully brave Steve Rogers.

Swoon-worthy, for sure, Lisa!!! I loves me some Johnny Flame! Because he is part of the Fantastic 4....which is Marvel and a product of the brilliant Stan Lee....what if the Avengers "ran into" that pack??? HA. Dual roles: Captain America AND Johnny? He can pull it off. No worries!

DeleteI too wondered what they were going to do. As you may or may not know, the Fantasic Four and the Avengers cross paths often in the comic book world.
As we were leaving the midnight showing of The Avengers ( that's right I was one of those people ) I mentioned to James, who knows most things about comic book movies, that I thought it would be funny to see Captian America meet Johnny Flame. He lets me know immediately that they are "rebooting" the Fantastic Four franchise and recasting everyone. He believes, along with a lot of other fans, that they are at some point planning on having some kind of cross over for both teams to cross each others paths. Or atleast recognize that the other teams exists.
I DO remember that you saw him! I am seething with jealousy! I remember asking if you went up to him too! I feel like I would be in jail for trying to lick him! ahaha! Just kidding. I have self control.
I am totally in agreement with James! We are avid cartoon watchers as well, and I clearly recall an episode, or several, where Spiderman interacts with the X-Men. Can you imagine???? SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!
