Now, What Was That Book Called?
Greetings! Now that a new year is here I have been thinking a lot about all of the wonderful books we have posted on. The problem? There are sooooo many reviews that I find myself asking...What was the name of the book that Shauni wrote about? Or, I remember Carmen gushing about a vampire book but can not remember the name of it to save my life.
Which brings us to my point :) * yes I do have one * My newest Idea! If there is a book or series that you know we have talked about but for the life of you can not remember the name of it, come here and ask! Just let us know the things you remember about the review and we will try to think of the name. If you notice that someone else is asking about a book that you know the answer to, then please let them know! This is a great way for us to stay on top of our TBR lists without getting overwhelmed.
This is also a great way for us to connect and talk about what we are reading and thank each other for the recommendations.
Happy Reading!
Lisa :)

What a great pic -- you captured the theme/feeling perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI'm racking my own thoughts now to remember what's been suggested. :)
I actually have one! I think it was you Carmen who wrote a review..it was a historical book...I think there was a wedding...! Ha! That is all I remember. I know that I wanted to read it.
DeleteIt's by Julie Garwood!!! The Bride is the first book and The Wedding is the sequel. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wonderful; especially The Bride with Alec and Jamie....swoooooooooooooooooon!!!
ReplyDeleteYes! That is it!!!! Yay! It works!!!
DeleteThis is such an awesome idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amanda! I have such a bad memory. This seemed like the best idea I could come up with without bugging them all the time :)
DeleteCarmen! What was the name of the book you were telling me about that I would love? Um, it had a single parent in it. I think you just read it! I so suck at this game. Not Too Darn Hot. Something else. Anything?
ReplyDeleteROFL with my memory that is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks Fran! That is my baby girl up there thinking really hard :) I am sooooo bad woth names. It drives my hubby crazy!
DeleteFran,
DeleteThe really sad thing about this post... well if they were to ask me, "what was that book called?" and I actually read it and wrote the review.. there is a very good chance that I would have a total brain cramp and not remember either..
BUT this is an excellent idea
Sheesh Lisa it's your daughter.. I would think you could remember her name *grins* but just in case you don't it's .... *runs off laughing*
DeleteBahahahahahahahahaha!!! Yeah I thought about how that came across! Ahahahaha!!! I do sometimes look at her and say "what's your name again?" She thinks ot hilarious :) Logan called me Bells the other day and he laughed so hard because he did that. Oh to be young again :)
DeleteI didn't even think of the brain cramps we maight get! Oops.....well we always have google :)
DeleteOGL.. I NEVER get my kids names right. Sheesh Rem was Blond Girl for years cuz my brain was always on overdrive and I could never remember the right name at the right time.. Or hey you was always one of my favorites.. that way one of them was sure to answer
DeleteMy grandma still calls me sweetpea because there were too many girls in my family to keep straight :) there are two Lisa's so I really never had a chance :) Belly calls the boys Her boys. She will say...I'm going down stairs with my boys. Or we have to wait on my boys. It's so sweet :)
DeleteI just scream, "YOU...with the long hair"...of course that could be Liv, Soph or Albert!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteNice!
