The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!
The follow part well it's just what it is.. You follow.. You can follow BR in the following manner:
- RSS feed
- via email
- Google Plus
- Any or all of the above
Make sure you pop in on some of the blogs listed below.. it's a fun way to spend some time and you might find something you really like and if you do, be sure and follow them.
Normally, I post a different feature on each blog, one from Alison Can Read and one from Parajunkie but this week (at the time I posted this) Parajunkie was having some technical difficulties... So Fiction in Fiction in Fiction gets double billing.
Our Feature - Fiction in Fiction in Fiction
1. When did you start blogging? I've always had a personal blog but I started posting book reviews at the end of 2012. However I started "officially" book blogging January this year when I started to really promote it. 2. What is your favorite part of book blogging? People to who understand my fangirling! It's so great to finally meet others who I can discuss books with and squeal over hot fictional characters ;) 3. What type of books do you mainly blog about? I'm a YA girl through and through. The main genres within that I blog about are contemporary and paranormal/fantasy with the occasional sci-fi/Dystopian (I think that's pretty much everything :P) 4. What are your favorite books? One of the hardest question a book lover ever has to answer... It definitely is books... Series more like. Harry Potter (JK Rowling), Vampire Academy (Richelle Mead), The Iron Fey (Julie Kagawa), Covenant (Jennifer L. Armentrout), The Fault in Our Stars (John Green), Looking For Alibrandi (Melina Marchetta), On the Jellicoe Road (Melina Marchetta), Easy (Tammara Webber), Throne of Glass/Crown of Midnight (Sarah J. Maas), The Grisha Trilogy (Leigh Bardugo), Hunting Lila/Losing Lila (Sarah Alderson), These Broken Stars (Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner), anything by Jessica Shirvington, Gayle Forman and Colleen Hoover. I actually have a lot more "favourites" but these are my best-of-the-best! 5. What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging? Being part of the book community - it's really a whole other world, like when Harry stepped into Diagon Alley for the first time. I've met so many amazing people on Twitter and through blogs, we see each other at book events and some have become really good friends who I go see movies with and such! Also, I'd say my writing has really improved to :D
Q: It is up to you to do a Kickstarter campaign for your favorite book!!! Who are you casting for the main characters?
Since my absolute favorite "book" (trilogy) of all time is Lord of the Rings... and I feel Pete Jackson did a brilliant casting job, I am not going to use my favorite book.
What I will say though is no matter the book, I would suggest unknowns. Let them make the part so we don't have to consider, the actor as another character. On that nite, I would like to tell Sherrilyn Kenyon that I have two very good looking sons, 6'4 & 6'8 so both would make excellent Dark Hunters... except I would have to forbid them any sex scenes..CUZ well, ewww
